    You didn't cover how to replace pull rope. How do I have tension to the rope after I thread it through and put everything back on? I pull and it only pulls a short distance and won't recoil.

      That's because the rope wasn't the problem it was the fingers. However, I will make a video showing how to replace a new rope. I thought I already had one posted.

      Your pulley must have over heated or rusted and stuck to the shaft.

      No, what's crazy is people smoking cigarettes and cigars while pumping gas. Heat gun only puts out heat.

    Thank you for this vedio I have problem with my superban gmc 2005 A/C I repace the compressor and A/C Redaitoor and the accumulator filter but the problem the front A/C is warm and the rare A/C is cold 😢 What do you think the problem .

    This is because of all the crappy gas we get now blame it on the democrats ' 78 hours on my 46 inch cub cadet and second one . Gas is dirty and crappy . I need stock in fuel pumps and gas filters and carbs . I am a 71 and a woman and my cub cadet is a V twin 22hp . We need to drill baby drill our own fuel . I use parts tree all the time . I printed out all the info for both my cub cadets . I think you need a new gas filter . I saw gas dripping every place it could

      Oh boy I actually feel pretty stupid 😅 I slowed your video down to .5 and was about to zone in apparently the universe wanted me to stop being stubborn and just ask for help 😅 I do admit I'm horrible at doing that thank you so much for your video it's really been the only reason I was able to get everything off.

    I have that exact problem with my Morton softener. The white foam cylinder at the bottom, is it attached to the black disk? My is not. I put a new Venturi assembly thinking that the old was bad but water keeps flowing into the tank until the softener stops the regeneration cycle. In the end, the tank is left full.

      Top right at the back there is a clear drain hose. I took mine apart and inside it had a very small rock that was blocking the flow so it wouldn't drain and would fill my tank like yours.

      Your welcome...You can check all your switches to make sure they are working but it sounds like a blockage.

    Here's an important tip regarding all fuses. My directional signal stopped working and at another time my blower failed. I pulled the fuse in the panel at the driver's end of the dash, checked the fuse for being blown and corrosion, scrapped the blades with my thumb nail and saw a white substance appear. I whipped them off on a course rage and reinstalled it and I haven't had a problem since. Moisture in some form must get in.

      My Rav4 has no cabin air filter but you can find them usually behind the glove box. You can use a screw driver and some come with T25 bits.

    Only need to sharpen the last 4" to 5" of the blade. This is where the grass gets cut. Save your grinding wheel and time. Makes it easier to balance.

    Lonnie, great video, thanks. I have the same single valve carburetor but can’t see how to get the air intake off of the front of this original carburetor (replacement part 594207). When I take the full piece out as you did, those air intakes have a strange square bolt that’s too deep in the intake to loosen them. How do you complete this last step in order to put the new carburetor in its place? Thanks in advance.

      Sounds like you have a wire not connected to the solenoid.

    Lonnie came across your video from 6 years ago on how to replace the resin in your water softener. You showed how much came out but it was way less then the 1 cu. ft. you put back in. Question any idea where it went?

      It all came through the regen tube over the years during regen cycles because I always seen what looked like sand in the sink. Some people have said it comes through the water lines into the sink and bathroom.

      Cub Cadet 756-0978B is the engine pulley. Those 2 other pulley's are v pulleys for the drive system on this mower, also Cub Cadet 756-04224 flat pulley is also used for the drive system. These 4 pulley's work the drive system and can be used for other purposes. There is also one more pulley, Cub Cadet 756-04308 that holds the fan in place.

    That’s great except there is nothing in this video about replacing a drive pulley. You replaced all of the idler pulleys. Literally the only pulley you didn’t replace was the drive pulley.

      At 4:03 through 4:40 is the nut that holds the drive pulley on the reassembly.

      I am referring to the pulley that drives this operation. It would be located on the shaft that comes out of the bottom of the motor. The drive pulley will generally be on a keyed shaft. I didn’t see you change that in this video. It’s a good video but the title is incorrect and leads people to waste time watching a video that they don’t need. Anyway, good job.

      Thanks and thanks the info. Your talking about the main engine power band pulley. You have a different number of drive idler pulleys connected to the drive system, I did look it up and the part that was ordered did say drive pulley.

      Try this number - Gear Part# 695708 Also take yours off and match it to a new gear. They sell the gear at Home depot stores or Cub Cadet Dealers.     I have a yth22/46 and gas keeps pouring into the carb without the motor running. Checked my plugs and they're good, the oil looks good but the engine only starts to turn over. I've been wanting an excuse to buy new but my 10 year old mower was running great before this. A fuel pump and filter is only $13, and a new mower could cost millions.

      Correction, I tried to turn my Husqvarna over just now and it works. The gas is in the floor though so I will buy a pump unless there's something I'm missing.

    My set screw won’t go in. Is there a buy or something on the handlebar that the set screw goes into. The one for the housing to slide it off.

      It should go in only one way. But you can take it off and see if there is a hole for the set screw.

      @@LonnieJohnson1 I took it off there is a hole for it to go into but the screw doesn’t thread in. It’s not stripped because it came out fine and was threaded in.

      If it came out it will go back in. You will have to work with it by pushing and turning.

    The washers are shims, and come in different micro sizes to get the correct meshing of the gears.

      I know there shims and you know that, but people that want to save money by fixing there own equipment know it best as a washer. However, thanks for sharing the info. Just put it back together the same way it came apart.

    Just a heads up…..they weren’t washers, they were shims for setting the backlash when reassembling. And they aren’t gears holding the blades, they are splines.

    Thanks for your video. Mine just blew uo while it was running with a loud bang. I could have gotten electrocuted, as I was standing in knee deep level of water, cleaning the pool sides. It could have also Flown in my eye and blinded me if I was standing over it.
